Neumann Gruppe (NG), the holding company of Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG) announces personnel changes in the Board of Management. The green coffee service group welcomes Mr. Ruben Scholz as Group Chief Operating Officer (Group COO). Furthermore, Board of Management member Jörn Severloh now carries the title of Group Chief Business Development Officer (Group CBDO).
As of the 1st of May, Mr. Ruben Scholz will be joining the Board as Geschäftsführer and Group COO. In this function, he will be responsible for the business operations of NKG around the world hand in hand with the Board as well as for coaching and our trading strategy and will also take over further responsibilities and leadership functions and departments within NG. Ruben Scholz has been with NKG for more than 25 years. Over a number of stations and steps, he became Co-CEO of BR in 2014. In 2020, he took over the responsibility as Managing Director of Bero Coffee Singapore and played the leading role in developing the vast region of Asia and Oceania for NKG. With Ruben Scholz, the NG Geschäftsführung gains a highly reputable, modern, consummate coffee professional with an impressive track-record and experience and in-depth knowledge of NKG and the entire spectrum of coffee in all its facets. The position as Managing Director of Bero Coffee Singapore will be taken over by Mr. Jan-Willem Otten, the company’s current Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
At the same time, NG has re-defined some functions and responsibilities within the Geschäftsführung. In consequence, Jörn Severloh now carries the title of Group Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) and is responsible for driving organic growth and identifying new and varied business opportunities for NKG in order to reach the growth goals and diversify the company’s activities within coffee.
